Every Sunday, I go live to answer investing questions. Most of the time, it’s just me saying "NVDA, TSLA, CAVA" 12,000 times. So here’s this week’s recap in case you missed it:
📉 SHOULD I INVEST IN CAVA?
👉 I can’t give financial advice, but I bought CAVA on IPO day and never looked back.
📈 It went up. 📉 It went down. 📈📈 Then it went UP. A LOT. Now? It’s back down, but still above what I paid.
💰 I’m still buying. They’re dealing with:
Growing pains
Inflation concerns
Trade war risks
Rising food & material costs
🍽️ Imagine you're a fast-casual chain expanding to 1,000 locations by 2032 (opening ~60 per year).
⏳ But if we hit a recession, will people dine out as much? Probably not.
🌎 If there’s a trade war, will costs increase? Probably yes.
💸 Will this slow expansion? Maybe. Investors are taking profits.
🤔 Short-term concern? Yes.
🚫 Panic selling? Nope. I’m holding for 10-20 years and buying small amounts along the way.
💳 KLARNA IPO
🛒 Buy Now, Pay Later giant Klarna (the one letting people finance DoorDash orders) is going public.
⚠️ IPOs = Risky (Lock-up expirations, volatility, hype).
🛑 I generally avoid IPOs… even though I bought CAVA on IPO day.
📜 In 25+ years of investing, I’ve only bought 3 IPOs:
WWF (now TKO) – 1999
Facebook (now META) – 2012
CAVA – 2023
🚗 TESLA DRAMA
🔥 Always a hot topic. Always controversial.
🤯 Will Elon be removed as CEO? Some want him out.
📉 If he leaves? Stock crashes.
📈 Then? Stock skyrockets.
💡 Would I reinvest in TSLA? Depends on the new CEO and their vision.
📉 RECESSION?
🔮 Do I think we’ll see one? Yes.
📆 When? No idea.
💰 Best strategy?
Stay consistent as an investor.
Keep cash on the side to buy more during a downturn.
🚫 DON’T delay investing. Stay the course.
📊 Can You Successfully Day Trade?
💸 Maybe. I’ve been day trading & swing trading for 15 years.
🔑 Why I can take the risk:
✅ No kids
✅ No mortgage
✅ No financial dependents
✅ Live below my means
⚠️ If I had kids, a mortgage, or a spouse depending on stable income? Totally different story.
💊 Also, side rant: Healthcare in this country is BULLSHIT. It’s insanely expensive, but for me, it’s worth it to avoid a traditional job.

💰 I bought it for the dividend – Over 6%!

😴 I didn’t buy PFE expecting massive growth. I bought it because it’s boring & reliable.
