SAVING vs INVESTING

A debate as old as time, which is kinda stupid if you ask me because saving is not the same as investing in high quality stocks and ETFs/index funds.

Is saving important? Absolutely. Do you need a 6-12 month rainy day fund? Of course. Should it be in a High Yield Savings Account? Duh. Will you HYSA yourself into retirement? LOL. No.

The idea that saving is SAFER than investing is absurd. Zero risk? No. The risk is that you miss out on asset appreciation, compounding, dividends. Maybe rates are high at the moment, but when rates get cut, you will never save enough to beat inflation. You must invest.
